Starbucks isn't a family restaurant. It's not even really a cafe. We don't have table service and we don't cook. It's more like a coffee bar with seating and whole bean sales. The food is mainly there for people to grab when they come in for a coffee, and they expect to pay highly for it and not get much.
The other day I had a family come in, and after a brief exchange where I told the little girl I couldn't put extra ham and cheese on her sandwich, the mother who was wearing a tshirt too small for her big boobs said 'Allright, let's go to McDonalds instead'. Like I give a fuck. I'm really not interested in making five drinks for one order then hearing complaints about the price and broken expectations on the final product.
