Thanks to mister cat(Lots of people seem to be saying that about movies lately, dude. You're totally turning into a pusher.) I watched Dodgeball. It was some kind of funny. The dialogue kicked arse and the director actually knew what was funny rather than just going through the motions of what 'funny' is supposed to be. It had a real 'Simpsons' vibe to it.

The turbo zombies didn't bother me so much. I thought it worked really well in a coupla places, like when Ana's husband went her at the start and when the bloated woman did her thang. What got me was that they were brutally strong and fast yet they couldn't get into the damned mall. It was just glass keeping them out, damnit. They shoulda just ignored it, went belting through and chowed down.
That and the zombie baby shit. As soon as I saw the pregnant woman I knew they were gunna fucken do it. Too much for Oates and I had to go buh-bye.

the biggest problem i have with the turbo zombies is it removes one of the defining elements of the genre. if you make them fast then they might as well be anything.. werewolves or rabid dogs or just plain angry dudes. they did have their moments but it's just not how you make porridge.
