One thing I don't understand is why I thank people who come into our store only to use the toilet. They come in and say 'where's the nearest public toilet?' which is code for 'can I take a dump here?' and I don't care so I say 'just through the back there on the left'. And when they leave as they're walking out I tell them 'thanks'. It's not that I'm too polite because really automatically thanking people doesn't count for shit. I dunno. Maybe they think I've got some fetish. Maybe I have some fetish.
