Our suburb is plagued by trucks tonight. There's incident response vehicles, heavy trucks covered in police colours and markings, blocking off part of Dandenong Road. I didn't see what was going on.
Outside our house now there's some trucks going back and forth, lifting men up to work on the powerlines, thier flashing lights brightening the street orange. I dunno what's going on there either. The electricity's plainly on here yet it's too late for maintenance.
Then, tomorrow morning when I'll be asleep, that's when the garbage trucks will come.
