I gotta start turning off my mobile phone when I don't have to go to work. I got a call yesterday around midday from my boss asking me if I could fill in at a store where no one had been for a break at all, for five hours, for extra pay because of the holiday.
She sounded like she really needed the help so I said yes. When I got there... the cash registers weren't working and the zombies kept coming in wanting hot chocolates. With just two of us on, the store was rarely free of lines either at the cash register or waiting for the drinks.
I finally ended up home at nine o'clock. Fucking work.
