I've been thinking about going to an optometrist to get actual glasses for my astigmatism. It's only slight, but when I get tired my right eye just throws in the towel and asks my left to do all the work. I got the full on 'Old Man and the Sea' shit going on here, oh yes.
Anyway, I look better in glasses. Yes it's a jewelry thing. But you get one eye stronger than the other and try and find something in the middle of a grid while people are waiting. It's fucking hard.
It's like trying to write a well focussed post while you're half pissed.

Trying to write a well-focused piece while pissed is impossible! I had seen this concept in writing, but I always think about that (when I'm pissed and trying to write). Thanks for bringing that up. And yes, get the glasses! For heaven's sake.
