Goddamn. I am alive and I've been working. Not too hard, but hard enough to know about it when I'm at home at night. Been reading lots, too. Finished Moorcock's Nomad of the Time Streams trilogy, which seems to be a reaction to Conservative views that things were better in the past.
And I've been reading Gene Wolfe's New Sun cycle. Fucking brilliant. I got so wrapped up reading the damned thing tonight on the way home that I forgot to watch for my tram stops and missed two of them.
