'Interesting'. May you live in interesting times and all that. The thing about early morning trains is the stations are all open and I don't think any ticket inspectors ride. So people who otherwise couldn't afford to be on the train can ride freely. You see all kinds of 'interesting' people.
Like this morning when I managed to end up in the same carraige as a guy who was chroming. I didn't even realise something was out of place when I walked by him and he had his shoes and socks off. I was doing my usual 'keep to yourself and keep quiet' routine. My book kept me occupied enough so that I didn't notice the moaning sounds the guy was making until South Yarra. Then his moans got louder, I heard the aerosol going and the plastic bag ruffling, followed by harsher, barking moans. I didn't actually see him do it. I got off at Flagstaff so I wouldn't have to get off the train at the same time as him and attract his attention. Turns out Flagstaff isn't far from where I was headed anyway.
