I get this odd feeling when I'm applying for jobs I'm pretty certain I'm gunna get. Like I'm committing to something I can't control and I don't really want to be a part of. But I need this and I can't refuse.

i think the way to deal with jobs that you need but don't really want is to switch off, put your head down and just f'n do it. that's how i work it anyway: trouble is i can only switch off my brain for about 40 seconds at a time, so i have spent a lot of time in shitty jobs planning ways to eviscerate people.
