I got some mail from Uni. They've approved me taking a year off. This is the best possible news. If they hadn't approved it I just would have stayed home anyway, fuck the consequences. I need this time off. I can't mentally or financially afford to continue just right now. It's thier fantasy world, not mine.
I really don't know why I was stressing about the decision. I'm a decent student, in the top 15% if you believe the stupid secret handshake club they asked me to join. I've paid them thousands of dollars for what I've done so far as well as earned them god knows how much in government allocation. They're not just going to toss me away. Yeah. You know. Because decisions made by Uni administration are always rational and well thought out. Yeah.
