Sitting here coding with the sun shining in my window. The house is still a goddamn mess. There’re books everywhere on my bedroom floor, the lounge is pretty much unusable and the kitchen’s confusing. I used the yellow pages to pack all the plates and glasses and haven’t had the time to unpack properly yet. When I need something I grab it out of a box and toss the paper on the floor, so the kitchen looks like its snowed ads for accountants and ‘adult’ services.
Today’s gunna be busy. I’ve got a test in the afternoon and an interview after that. I’m gunna rock both because I kick arse. And don’t you forget it.
So yeah, right now I’m getting back to coding and listening to Tom Waits. He’s telling me what his mother told him when he was a kid. We’re all gonna be dirt in the ground. He’s an optimistic feller.
