The other night we went for a walk to seven-eleven because we were all drunk and thought we needed some food to feel better. We saw a lot of people out doing similar things. It was about three in the morning, I think.
Anyway, as we walked by the park that's between here and there I saw a gumtree that had all its flowers open. I don't know if gums close thier flowers at night. This was under a sodium light, but I could tell all the flowers were yellow. They were being pollinated by moths. There weren't just a few moths, a swarm of them was trying to fuck these yellow gum flowers. And the smell was sweet as hell. I had an idea that things like that existed, but I didn't know what it would look like.
