Right. For those who came in late: a coupla weeks ago one of my lecturers went away for a while. His replacement was a crappy lecturer who was doing it for the first time. She raced through the material and spoke very quietly, like she was nervous or something, and didn't seem to mind that half the class was talking throughout the thing. This was a blessing to the fuckers who don't really want to be there, so when the proper lecturer came back they made sure to tell him how fantastic she was.
Focus on today: the normal lecturer is back. Except for some reason when I arrived at the damned thing the fill-in is back at the front of the auditorium. She's smiling and talking with some of the fuckers. Yeah, I sure am glad I went to Uni today. We got through something the lecturer refused to do last week because he thought not enough people turned up to run it to any effect, in under an hour when it's supposed to take two. Fantastic.
