My latest 'thing' is 100 Bullets. It kicks arse. This one dude, Brian Azzerello, has looked at what comics are, and have been, and has said 'Nah, fuck that'. Yeah, plenty of people have done that, but this dude's done it right. Puts him up there with Moore and Miller, I'm serious.
To be honest, 100 bullets is closer to Miller then Moore, but that's cool. It's about these seven guys. And it's about these thirteen families. But before that it's about one guy with an attache case. In the case is a gun with 100 untraceable bullets. These bullets, you could go on a killing spree with them and the cops would just give you the gun back and say 'good day'. Along with the gun and the bullets is undeniable proof that some sonofabitch has fucked your life up. The gun, the bullets and the proof are choices: what do you do? What happens next is completely up to you. There's no constraints holding you back. And if you do make the right choice, then what does the fucker who gave you the gun in the first place want with you?
It's pretty fucken good. Can't wait to get more.
