Now it's time for a segment I love and you love. It's time for 'Oates tries to homogenise views on media'. I gotta get a theme song.
If you don't already read this sucker you should. American Elf is easily one of the best comics online. The artist (Superstar James Kochalka) manages to blend so much humour and humanity into his four panel strips that it's unmissable. It's like an episode of M*A*S*H without Hawkeye turning into a preachy fuck in the third series. Unless that was just me. I got real tired of him around the time they tried to add 'depth' to the character by making him one dimensional. But this post isn't about sitcoms from the Seventies, no!
Anyway, yeah, read American Elf. If you like it a lot buy a subscription. It is, as he says, cheaper than beer.
