I keep slicing my thumb in exactly the same place. I don't really cut it. I haven't drawn blood yet, but the skin on my thumb is broken with a nice line right down the pad. It doesn't hurt when I do it, though it hurts when I press down on something or when I get soy sauce in it like I did earlier. I'm not doing it on purpose. It just happens. I think it's happening when I'm doing dishes but I can't tell for sure because I don't realise there's a cut there until later because I don't feel it happen.
