I finally got new shoes. My old pair, veterans of two years and hundreds of kilometres of walking have gone to thier resting place, in the bin out the front. It seems a bit rude to so dispose of things that have served me well, but they smell. And these new ones actually fit me and they don't have holes in them so I can walk outside when it's raining without getting wet socks. Having warm feet rocks so hard.
