The first lecture we had this morning was fucking cool. It was a continuation of a subject that was dry as hell last semester due to a lecturer who had all the personality and charima of the possum crap that seems to lie over Caulfield like a blanket of squashed, digested leaves. He was that crap!
But this morning was a different matter. The new lecturer started off by trying to get us interested in the subject, talking about his experience, his first home computer (a trs80) and the ten meg hard drive he had in 1982. That woulda been a goddamn expensive piece of storage back then. These days he has a terabyte on his home PC. The guys near me thought it was funny when I said I only have thirty gigs. Damnit.
Anyway, yeah, I reckon I'm gunna do well this semester.
