Because the lecturer seems like he has no idea what he's doing we had no work to do in Friday's tutorial so we ended up talking about the whole thing where Australian tech jobs are going overseas because it's cheaper to employ Indians than Australians. I can understand why people are against it, but shit, if the market is global you have to behave globally with it.
Though, I don't think outsourcing has had a large impact on the Australian tech sector. It's just that local tech spending is way down at the moment.
