I helped out a guy in one of my tutes last week for about an hour on some of the Java stuff that he needed for an assignment. I don't have a problem with helping people out. I'd prefer to see them pass and stick with the course. Plus explaining it to others lets me work it out in my own head.
So I'm sitting down waiting for the lecture and this guy turns up next to me and hands me a plastic bag and tells me thanks. I tell him that's cool and he didn't need to give me anything. It looked like a couple of stubbies of beer and I automatically thought Carlton. Which isn't bad. Free beer is free beer. I just opened it up then and turns out it's a couple of stubbies of Boag's premium. Not bad at all.
