While I was sitting in the lab today listening to the lecturer, the head of our course, stumble over the explanation of what objects and classes are, I started to formulate in my head how I would explain it myself. I decided the best way would be to introduce the kids to Plato's Allegory of the Cave. Honestly, I can't have been the only person to see the relationship here. It's something I'll have to investigate.
