When I was a kid I figgered out something. See, I decided that not everyone could succeed, that for there to be what we call "successes" there had to be a proportional amount of "failures". It just made sense. Then when I got older and smarter I found out that I wasn't the first person to observe this. There was this guy about a hundred years ago who decided that the failures were more important than the successes. He observed that there had to be a certain amount of people fucking up before someone would see the light and have the right idea. Of course, this smart dude would have his own ideas perverted for a century. And he'd have some of the most hideous atrocities ever committed done in his name. But what are you gunna do? When you say 'failure is the way forward' you're gunna get maniacs and fuckwits subverting your word. That's gotta be a given.
I guess his failure was being misunderstood. Still, we've got forever to improve on the record.
