So, my first lecture started off with me forgetting my glasses about half a block away from the house and having to run back for them. This eventually made me slightly late for the lecture, but I did discover I could shave a few minutes off the trip if I cut across Caulfield Park. When I got to Balaclava Road there was a girl walking at a similar speed and heading in the same direction. She was probably similarly late for her first class of the year, but I lost sight of her when I crossed Normanby Road in a break in the traffic, so I couldn't say for sure.
