The shit started to hit the fan at about eleven thirty. I had my assignment uploaded to my home directory on the UNIX system. I was at Uni preparing to print the fucker out. Then I realise that I didn't have any credit on my printing account and I didn't know how to put money on it. At the time I thought it was fine. At my last Uni you just wandered up to the librarians and gave them money and they creditted your account.
So I try and find information on how to print. There's no obvious links so I try searching and come up with a site that says I should use a self-service terminal that's located right by the room I'm in. I get out and have a look but it's out of order. I find another terminal on the other side of the Uni, so I run over there and find that it's also out of order. I'm starting to panic now having used up most of the time. I start to think that maybe the terminals aren't out of order and I'm just not using them right. The next few minutes are spent trying to find more websites and figuring out that the terminals sure as fuck don't work. I'm looking up other options when the time runs out. At this point I say fuck it and head home. I decided to get it printed out later on. There's no real difference between it being one minute and three hours late.
