Let me explain the chain of command at work. Firstly there's 'the boss'. I dunno what his name or title is but he's rarely at work and I'm not so sure what he does. Then there's the big Greek guy who's always hanging around, talking on a mobile phone and telling Rob what to do. Rob is my boss. He's the grocery manager. He tells me what to do when I don't have anything to do. He tells me when I work and how I do it. Then there's Su. Su is the trainee manager and sometimes tells me what to do. He doesn't really have any clout, but he has a better idea of how the supermarket works than I do. Then there's Dave. Dave isn't much of an authority figure, but he's the grocery manager while Rob's not there. He's cool to work for because he's way more easy going than Rob.
Mainly I keep my head down and try not to attract attention.
