My hair is now cut. I just got a crewcut (sorry Nat), but I think it looks pretty damned good anyway. The woman that did it actually paid attention to what she was doing and took about twice as long as the hairdressers in Portland did. She's from somewhere in Europe, I couldn't recognise the language her and her friend were speaking, and they were more interested in talking to each other than hearing my life story. Which was fine with me. I was there to get my hair cut, not exchange small talk that she'd forget as soon as I left. I'm pretty pleased with the result.
