Me and Cat were stopped by ticket inspectors on the tram today. It was pretty strange. When I used to live in Melbourne, the inspectors travelled around in groups and wore uniforms. There were pretty easy to avoid because of this.
The inspectors that got us today were dressed like normal people. They boarded the tram from the same stop, but they split up and sat in different seats. When we got away from the tram stop, they stopped pretending they were normal passengers, quickly got up and walked around the tram with thier badges out, asking people for thier tickets. The way they did it made me feel a bit guilty, like I had been caught doing something. It also made me think they'd seen a few too many police dramas on TV. Luckily I'm doing my best to be a law abiding citizen these days.
