I enrolled with my new university today. I was a relatively painless experience. No one made me bruised and bloodied, or attempted to put me into a state resembling either. I was slightly humilated by having to repeat over and over that I'd forgotten to bring important documents with me, but seeing as none of my mistakes were enough to stop me from enrolling it all came across as a sort of 'bad dog!' type dressing down. All like 'Don't shit on the carpet! And give us $350 while you're at it, bad dog!'
