The book I got was 'Shiver' by Nikki Gemmell. I'd link to the Amazon entry for it, but there's no actual information for it there. I've wanted to read it for a while, though. Nikki used to be a newreader on JJJ back when I used to listen to it, and I can remember when the book came out. Apparently she did the same sort of writing course that I did. Apparently she also had the guts to pull it off.
