In my spare time, and the time I've stolen from other places, I've been working on my MUD addiction. I've started playing Imperian. It's a member of the Rapture family of MUDs, which include Achaea and Aetolia so if you've played either of those you know what to expect. It's a newer game so it has less players, around 30 offpeak and over 100 at peak, but there's a bit of bragging about Imperian having a better roleplaying environment than the other two. I dunno if the claims will stand up, but the only way to find out is playing the damned thing.
