Well that's me tapped out for the night. I spent most of it fiddling with Python. By the time I figured out the basics of regular expressions, which wasn't hard once I stopped staring at the screen expecting to understand it and tried actually reading what was there, I found out they alone weren't sophisticated enough for what I wanted. I do actually need to use the HTML parser if I want to selectively weed out tags from a document. It should be Java that I'm playing around with, but I don't give a toss.
