Watching Perfect Blue on SBS. It's the dub for some reason. I don't know why. The dub truely does suck. The voice actors don't sound right for some of the characters and the translation's been dumbed down in parts. And I totally sound like a dumb anime nerd right now. Anyway, the part I found remarkable was the scene at the end where Mima is running away from an image of herself. She has all this trouble, falling off and over stuff, while the hullicination of her former self glides along without effort, skipping and smiling without even noticing the obstacles in the way, smiling while trying to kill what she's become.
If I'm ever chased by an idealised version of who I used to be I'm going for the nut-punch.
