Today's Tuesday. Tuesday is the day I get the house to myself while Mum and Dad go out and clean someone else's house for money and Jason goes to knock down trees for free. Really, he does it for free. It's part of a government program to get unemployed young people back into the workforce. Of course it doesn't work, but it keeps them busy for a coupla days a week. I don't do it because I'm smarter than them.
Anyway, Jason doesn't have to do it. He has a job and does enough work. I don't know why he keeps going back. I wish he wouldn't because I hate listening to him complain about the idiot who gets paid to run the thing. Maybe it's a stoner networking thing: most of the people who end up on the program are stoners. Someone on the program would have to know where to get good stuff, or where to get supplies in a shortage. Maybe that's it.
