I don't get it. To me, the reports of the deaths were enough. The Americans can't afford lie about this. And if they were going to tell lies about the deaths of the former Iraqi leadership, they woulda done it before now. Saying 'here are pictures, therefore these men are dead' while ghoulish, is also patronising and can only feed skepticism. Five year olds know pictures can lie.
