How about that war in Iraq, hey? That sure is something, isn't it? I love how Blair pretty much admitted that the whole weapons thing had been pretense in order to get the war started. I really don't know why he even bothered with presenting false evidence because he was set on the action all along. It would've been a lot less insulting to our intelligence.
Speaking of which, notice how George Bush stood right beside Blair when the admission was made then said something to the effect of 'All this stuff we faked will be proven right in the future!' Way to think on your feet, George. I bet his speech writers were shaking thier heads on that one, wondering what spin they could manufacture to get him out of it.
Finally, and this is the kicker, the 'free world' has recieved proof after proof that the intelligence was doctored. We went to war over lies. And no one seems to care! Bush won't get voted out because of this, he'll get his arse kicked because voters will remember how richer everyone was told they were under the Democrats. Blair can do what the hell he wants because no one in thier right mind would vote those Tory party maniacs in. And here in Australia the only opposition to Howard is a guy who everyone asks 'what is it you do again?'
