Another thing I don't get: yes it's sad that a scientist took his own life. Why was the war okay when it was costing the lives of soldiers and Iraqi civilians? I'll tell you why: because those people don't fucking matter. The people making the decisions that control our world aren't capable of making basic moral choices. They're like idiots with ants nests. The world as described to them is too abstract for them to operate in as anything other then sociopaths. We don't fucking matter. I'm tired and pissed off.
