I should be studying maths, not ranting about what I think the evils of society are. Hell, just this week the governing coalition flushed education down the shitter by insisting all tertiary education become 'competitive'. This means that University courses are no longer judged on what they can teach, but how much money they can make the institutions that support them. If those fuckers had paid more attention in thier own federally funded University courses maybe they'd know that 'merit' is different and more complex to measure than 'profit'.
