Not that I guess it matters to the people who the bombs are gunna be dropped on. The war could be about oil, ideas, principles or just plain fucken madness, and it wouldn't make a damned difference to them.
That's another thing that pisses me off. Everyone keeps going on about how children will be harmed by the military action. It makes it sound like it's perfectly okay to drop bombs on the soldiers. And it's not. It's just as fucken bad. These guys have zero choice about whether they're in the line of fire or not. They're just normal people, putting guns in thier hands doesn't make them valid targets for weapons they can't possibly fight back against. They already have enough problems to deal with.
Hell! And even if the odds were even, even if these guys were fit and healthy with modern weaponry. It still wouldn't be right to kill them. It's a simple fucken concept. Killing people is bad. Look at what we do to citizens that don't understand it. We treat them like animals because we figure they'd have to be at that level not to understand something so fucking elementary. It must be like, a mobius strip of insanity. At a low level of understanding we lock people up. At a level so low that it comes around and end up back at the top, with someone so fucked up that they think it's okay to starve and kill hundreds of thousands of people, the true mass-fucking-murderers, those're the fuckers we call 'Mister President'.
