I've been struggling with a clear head for the past few days. I threw probably the biggest tantrum of my adult life on Sunday night. Let's just say, someone I really don't like got a part in our play. And let's also just say that he's a fucking moron who should be off somewhere else making people other than me miserable.
I dunno. I do this amateur acting crap for fun. But what's the point when there's some cliche out of a bad comedy series being loudmouthed and pissing me off?
Seriously, he's out of a bad comedy series. He has absolutely zero idea of what's going on usually. During the last production the director had to remind him who he was supposed to be talking to with his lines. He couldn't pronounce a lot of it. He completely misinterpreted the character and then refused to change because he didn't want to look bad.
We won't be doing Shakespere again. Ever. In a small country town's theatre company, Shakespere adds up to self-indulgent bullshit. But still. The resident idiot is only actually in the company because he thinks it's a good way to meet women. And from my experience, only an idiot would think that, especially after a year worth of consistant failures.
