I bought a Graham Greene book in the bookstore. I applied for a job in that place. Didn't think it woulda lasted there this long.
The woman there told me that before The Quiet American came out she couldn't sell anything by Greene, but she couldn't get his stuff in quickly enough now. It was a little annoying because it seemed like she was suggesting I was only buying the book just because he's popular now. Which I guess is kinda true, but that's not the point. Why the hell would you wanna insult customers?
