Dad and I are going to have a fight soon. Not looking forward to it. He's got this thing about bullying the cat. He loves thumping it and pulling its tail, generally annoying the hell out of it, and sits around waiting for it to do something wrong so he can hit it. I can't fucking stand it. He's my Dad, and he's fucked in the head through no direct fault of his own. But he was bragging to me tonight about how he'd caught the cat up on the bench then chased it around the house until he'd smacked it. I near turned around and told him to fuck off and never touch the damned cat again.
Anyway, I'm trying to get Mum to remember to get a squirter-bottle so we can discipline the cat while he's doing things wrong and not hurt him. I just know Dad's gunna take it too far, though. The fucker's like a cruel child sometimes.
