After we went to a CD store we stopped at our old coffee and doughnuts haunt at the Donut King in Melbourne Central. We used to go there all the time when I was living up there.
There was a sale in the old Daimaru floorspace, lots of stuff marked down and sold off. I fingered through some books and tried to find something decent. I got a coupla paperbacks with J.G. Ballard's name on the spine, then I started looking through the hardcover stuff. I turned over one and there it was: a copy of Tiny Epics, the youth anthology I was published in. I got Cat and Nik over and showed them. I've only been published once and I'm already being remaindered.
