After we got to Melbourne it was discovered that the pizza store was closed. We ended up at another pizza place on the other side of town that closed just as we were leaving, and we ate in some park that didn't have lights. It wasn't raining there, the rain had stopped on the way into Geelong.
There were other people in the park we didn't see straight away, playing on the equipment. It was really awkward trying to sit and eat and ignore them, even though they were only a few feet from us at one stage.
