Morrowind. One of the quests you have to do is become warleader of each of the noble houses of Vvardenfell. Now, I dunno if there was supposed to be a different way to do it, but I just became leader of the mage house by killing all but one of the other leaders. To which I say: dang. That's a lot of murder.
