My copy of Bee Thousand, which I taped off Nik has a pause during smothered in hugs where you can hear a click then some fumbling then another click before the music starts again. About a line of lyrics is missing.
I was listening to it once while I was doing the vacuuming for Mum when she used to work at the school as a cleaner. I went along and took my walkman because it was boring as hell. At one point while I was rewinding the tape I accidently hit record. Now everytime I listen to the tape I hear it. My mind has accepted that as part of the song and I expect it now. It'll probably be a slight shock if I ever hear a complete version of the song.
