I tried a Neverwinter Nights campaign I downloaded last night for something to do for a while. And I've figured out why it's so bad. And it's something they couldn't have anticipated or really figured out in the testing because they were all so excited about what they were doing. In single player the combat is so fucking boring. It's way more boring than anything in Diablo, for instance. I can't speak for the multiplayer, because I've never tried it.
