Watching that History of Britain show on SBS and they're in Skara Brae, this stone age town on the very edge of Britain in the Orkney Islands. I'm absolutely facinated by the place. Mainly because of the Bard's Tale series. I think there was a city with the same name in the Ultima series as well. I remember being bored and reading history books in the library at school and finding mention of it and thinking something vague about a horn of fire. The horn of fire was a free magical item bards got in Bard's Tale. I used to hide from the rest of the school by sitting in the library. Had plenty of time to read.
