Rehersal was cool today. We worked on one of our scenes for over an hour, just filing the edges off, trying to sharpen it up. I haven't memorised the lines yet and I spent a lot of time looking at the script so there was some eye contact and other subtle things missing. I'm still not really comfortable in the role, though. I'm playing him too motivated, when he really is a slack old bastard. I don't really understand why I'm having this difficulty: a slacker is something I should be really comfortable in.
