If anyone was to ask me 'should I study computing subjects through open learning?' I would have to answer 'absolutely not unless you have no other option whatsoever'. It's not that the subjects are bad, it's just the uncertainty of what's going on. I'm not sure what the fuck I'm supposed to be doing for this exam at the end of it all. I think I'm supposed to arrange someone to come here and observe me while I do it. I think. And I don't really know anyone I can get to do it. It has to be someone 'respected by the community'. Sheesh. I don't think anyone in Portland gets any respect.
