I seem to have solved one of my computer's problems. I was wrong about there being a problem with the cd drive. There's this program that you're supposed to put on intel boards, called intel application accelerator. And it was bugging out my cd drive. Took it off and I can run cds fine now, if a little slower. Supposedly. I can't notice the difference.
